Main square, Parish San Antonio, some gaucho bars, silversmith and leather workshops and the chocolate factory.

The Gaucho Town San Antonio de Areco is just 1.5hs far from the City of Buenos Aires.
Then the Estancia El Ombú is just 15 minutes from the Town, and finally your way back to Buenos Aires will took about another 1.5hs ride in the highway. Close enough for a day trip, far enough to feel truly immersed in nature.
We offer pick ups at 8:15am with drop off at approximately 5:45pm in Buenos Aires.
But as you will have your own private transportation: you can choose your own schedule, shortening a little bit your visit to our gaucho town or the stay at the Estancia.
Absolutely! Our horses are calm and well-trained. Children as young as 6 can ride (with parental supervision). We tailor activities to all ages and skill levels. Vegetarian/vegan meal options available upon request.

Nope! The are near 80 horses at the ranch, so the gauchos will match you with a horse suited to your level/experience. Beginners receive a safety briefing and walking-pace introduction. Advanced riders can request faster rides if the weather/floor are ok.

The Gaucho Experience is not cancelled in case of forecasted rain or rain: there are several enclosed spaces at the gaucho town San Antonio de Areco: bars, parish, workshops. And at the ranch every activity is adapted or delayed according to the weather conditions: it counts with many enclosed comfortable spaces and some four wheel drive vehicles. Some of the activities and demonstrations can be delayed, modified or cancelled because of heavy rain, for safety reasons.
The Town and Ranch are pet friendly, but please let us know about the details of your pet and we will let you know if the characteristics are able for the transportation.
